In this article we are going to look at how to make computer text larger. To make the text on your laptop larger, you can adjust the display settings or use built-in accessibility features. The specific steps may vary slightly depending on the operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux) you are using. Here are the general steps for Windows and MacOS.

Text size larger in Windows
Right-click on the desktop and select “Display settings” from the context menu. Under the “Scale and layout” section, you’ll find a slider labeled “Change the size of text, apps, and other items.” Drag the slider to the right to increase the text size. As you move the slider, the changes will be reflected on the screen, so you can find the size that suits you best. You may also see a link titled “Advanced scaling settings.” Click on it to fine-tune the scaling options further if needed. After making the desired changes, click on “Apply” to save the settings.
Text size larger in Mac OS
Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of the screen. Select “System Preferences” from the drop-down menu. In the System Preferences window, click on “Displays.” In the Display tab, you will find a “Scaled” option with various text size options. Choose a larger scaled resolution to increase the text size. Close the System Preferences window to apply the changes.
Keep in mind that increasing the text size may result in larger interface elements, such as icons and windows, as well. If you only want to increase the text size in specific applications or browsers, you can often do so within the application’s settings or preferences.
