Knowing how to open Microsoft Outlook in safe mode is important for productivity. Outlook can experience its fair share of problems. Whatever the problem may be, being able to access a safe mode version of the application is very important in troubleshooting. Outlook does offer a safe mode and it is relatively easy to access.
- Make sure any open outlook applications are closed.
- Press the “windows key” and “r” at the same time.
- type in “outlook.exe -safe” in the box that pops up.
- Press enter and Microsoft Outlook safe mode will open. It will ask you to select your profile. Select the profile you with to troubleshoot with.
