Creating complex passwords

With everything that we have to have access to these days, passwords are a must.  With that, we have to have a different password for each and every one of them.  The criteria is for setting up a password is becoming more complex and there is no standard from one service to another. It is very difficult to keep track of them all.

People are constantly forgetting their passwords.  It’s not suggested that you use your name or any simple word that is unique to you but instead something more complex that you will not forget.  We would suggest coming up with a phrase or sentence that is 8 to 10 words long.

You want to use something that will be memorable to you specifically. Then you will take the first letter of each phase and put them in order. You should capitalize some of them or maybe even substitute a letter for a special character (ie $ instead of S). Make sure to include numbers in this password as well.

A good example would be the phrase “I graduated from college with a BS in Engineering in 1992. I would convert this phase to reflect the following: Igfcw@bsiEi1992! Notice I swopped the “a” with the “@” symbol and added the explanation mark at the end.
